STATEMENT OF FAITH Sagrado San Pedro Church A California Nonprofit Religious Corporation

The members of Sagrado San Pedro Church sincerely affirm the following doctrinal tenets:

1. The Divine in Creation The divine is present in creation, including in sacred plants set apart for worship.

2. Huachuma as Sacred Sacrament Huachuma — Trichocereus species, known by its colonial name San Pedro — is a consecrated sacrament. We hold that its use in worship is a sincere act of religious devotion and communion with the sacred, recognized and honored in Andean ceremonial tradition for more than three thousand years.

3. Sacramental Worship Participation in sacramental worship is an act of sincere religious devotion. It is not therapeutic, recreational, or motivated by any purpose other than genuine religious exercise.

4. Personal Conviction Every member of this Church holds these beliefs genuinely and personally. Membership is open only to those who sincerely affirm this Statement of Faith of their own free will.
