Why San Pedro

San Pedro — the colonial name given by Spanish colonizers to the sacred cactus known in Quechua as Huachuma — is native to the Andes mountains, with an unbroken history of ceremonial use spanning more than three thousand years. Known also as Abuelo — the Grandfather.
